The project involved designing and developing a user-friendly online portal that enables customers to search for freight quotes, submit booking requests, track shipments, and access exclusive freight deals. It included technical documentation, a feasibility study, and a UX prototype to ensure seamless user experience. 

An important component of the project was creating well-structured technical documentation and a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) to guide development. Additionally, a UX prototype was designed to ensure an intuitive user experience, making the platform accessible and efficient for customers.

The system was built to seamlessly integrate with third-party logistics services, capturing prospective customer details while supporting user registration for full platform functionality. A data-driven approach optimized logistics services, delivering an efficient and scalable solution for the freight industry.

A rapidly expanding grocery retail chain (RC) with 53 stores faced the challenge of managing the operational expenses of its centralized Logistics Center (LC). The LC, responsible for delivering goods to all stores except dairy and bakery products, which were delivered daily by suppliers, incurred an annual cost of EUR 3.4 million. RC aimed to split these costs among its 274 suppliers in a fair and transparent manner. The goal was to optimize the LC’s processes and calculate the costs for each supplier based on the nature and volume of goods they delivered, making it more cost-effective for suppliers to use the LC rather than delivering directly to each store.
